History WORKS activities concentrate on six core themes, which are essential to a thorough understanding of the scope and drama of American history. Each theme is broad enough to encourage the appreciation of an historical narrative and pattern in American history, not just a moment in time. These themes are also closely linked with the state of Ohio Standards in United States history.
