From the Revolutionary War to the Constitution

This session will focus on the North American colonies' struggle for independence from Britain and the resulting "democratic experiment." Topics include the Revolutionary War, the Articles of Confederation system, and the development of the Constitution. Special attention will be paid to the Market Revolution and the rise of industrialization in 19th century America.
